Dr. Jordan Stern (aka Professor Honky Tonk) – Founder, Producer, A&R Specialist

Jordan Stern has enjoyed a varied and productive career in music. He has performed across the stylistic spectrum, from Classical Music with the Texas Festival Orchestra at Roundtop, to Big Band Jazz with the Texas State Jazz Orchestra, and a stint as an associate high school band director. Dr. Stern currently is the associate director for student success in the Texas State University School of Music.

However, Dr. Stern’s biggest musical passion is for Country-Western music, specifically the traditional styles associated with Texas Honky-Tonks and Dance Halls. Jordan is dedicated to putting a spotlight on Texas musicians who are often ignored by the mainstream media.

In addition to performing extensively as a pedal steel guitarist, Jordan is a multi-instrumentalist, and can be heard playing drums, bass, guitar, piano, fiddle, and steel on various Lone Star Reserve recordings.

Brandon Padier – Producer, Lead Engineer

Brandon Padier is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from San Antonio, Texas. Mixing sounds from Rock, Country, Folk, Pop and R&B in his own band, Brandon Padier & Black Gold, as well as performing with and recording for a myriad of other groups, Brandon is never satisfied with staying in one lane musically, and has a love and deep knowledge of the great songwriters of the 20th century to make it happen.
His motto is “the song comes first” and works to lend his talents and love of song-craft to help create and bring to life that same vision to each artist he works with.
